Rosary walking from Wednesday August 14, 2024 in La Tranche sur Mer
2nd edition
"There were about forty of us gathered on August 14 at the chapel of La Grière located in La Tranche sur Mer for the Rosary while Walking. Father Verkys Nonvignon welcomed us with his assistant Father Brice as well as Father Serge Dalleau our accompanying priest. Among the pilgrims were many tourists who came with their families and children. The sea being high, some walked with their feet in the water behind the statue of the Virgin. The two priests did not stop hearing confessions along the way. It was very prayerful."

at the Notre-Dame de Garreau sanctuary in Vendée (85): 2nd edition
4th rosary walking from August 17, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Notre-Dame-de-Monts (85)
The 4th edition of the Rosaire en Marchant took place on August 17, 2023, starting from the church of Notre-Dame-de-Monts. Father Valerry WILSON welcomed us warmly to his parish. Jean-Pierre Martin, one of the pillars of the parish, had prepared our arrival well by informing the parishioners by means of posters, by setting up security around the route and by involving the Municipal Police.
He had decorated the statue of Our Lady of Fatima which accompanies us during each of our WALKING ROSARY.
About fifty people, half of them summer visitors, young and old, walked in the magnificent pine forests of the seaside, while reciting the 4 mysteries of the Rosary. Two priests accompanied us on this walk.
At the end of these 2 hours of walking, we were offered refreshments in the parish hall. It was a wonderful moment of conviviality.
3rd rosary walking from August 14, 2023 at 3 p.m. in La Tranche sur Mer (85)
The 3rd edition of the Rosaire En Marchant took place on August 14, 2023. Father Verkys NONVIGNON, parish priest of La Tranche sur Mer, welcomed us in the small chapel of La Grière.
The 80 people gathered began their walk around 9:30 am, in order to avoid the great heat. The statue of the Virgin of Fatima preceded us all along the route on the beach of La Tranche sur Mer. The participants recited the 4 mysteries of the Rosary.
Some people on the beach, a little surprised, were making the sign of the cross as we passed by. One of them, who was praying the rosary in front of the sea, delighted, joined the procession.
Some of the pilgrims were tourists. One of them promised to offer a Walking Rosary in his parish in Lorraine.
On arrival, refreshments were offered to us by Jacqueline Marionneau who worked with the members of the parish for the success of this Rosary in Walking.
The rosary while walking from May 13, 2023 at 3 p.m. in Moutiers les Mauxfaits (85)
The second edition of the Rosaire en Marchant took place on May 13 in Moutiers les Mauxfaits. Around fifty people braved the bad weather to walk for 1 hour 30 minutes behind the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, whose 106th anniversary of apparitions we were celebrating that day.
The walkers recited the first mystery of the Rosary in the church of Moutiers with the non-walkers before praying the other 3 mysteries while walking. Father NONVIGNON, parish priest of Moutiers and Father DALLEAU accompanied us.
On August 14 and 17, 2 Rosaires en Marchant will bring together vacationers passing through two important tourist locations in Vendée: La Tranche sur Mer and Notre Dame de Monts
